コンジンテナガエビ

西太平洋に広く分布するテナガエビの一種。日本では主に南西諸島に分布し、普通種です。本土でも関東以西での生息は確認されており、採ろうと思えば採れます。驚くほどのサイズに会うには南西諸島へ行った方が早いですが。特徴はつまりその大きさ。大型のオスは鉗脚を含めて30cmほどに成長します。脚の力も強く、陸を戦車のごとく進む姿は圧巻です。掴むと長い鉗脚を振りかぶってくるので結構怖い。ちなみに私は小指を挟まれて流血しました。
A kind of shrimp which is widely distributed in the western Pacific. It is distributed mainly in the Nansei Islands in Japan and is an common species. But it is also confirmed in the western part of mainland Japan (west from Kanto). The feature is its size. Large male grow to about 30 cm including chelophore. The power of the leg is also strong, and the land advances like a tank. When grabbing it attack by long chelophore. I got bleeding with my little finger.
